Students are nearing the end of their look at the Early Middle Ages (Chp2 in Pathways)  During this unit Dragons discussed the following current events/issues in our world:  Northern Gateway & Alberta tar sands, Earthquakes and BC's preparation for the next big one, The Occupy Movement, Adbusters, The Shrinking MIddle Class, Homelessness, and finally the Push to Grow more food in Canada, and the poor plight of farmers in Canada.

In addition to their textbook (Chap2) readings the following worksheets should be complete and kept for final unit study.

Dragons are done presentation and now are in a short stories unit.  Listed below are the short story response sheets for the stories we've covered so far:   Trueheart, Golden Pants, Hoarse Chestnuts, Moose & Sparrow, and On the Bridge
