We spent additional time looking at some of the emperors and their accomplishments and the Romans struggle with Carthage. We’ve finished our quick look of the Vikings. We are currently looking at world religion. Still need to cover Charlemagne and the Franks before starting our look at the middle ages.

Business 8

Dragons have covered basic basic economic principles and the basic types of business structure. Dragons have had to tackle some ethical issues around greed, sharing, walmart, and the invisible hand.

Currently dragons are busy constructing a ‘kids mall’. Students are designing stores and deciding what they are to sell (five product max). They are responsible for creating a storefront, floor plan, logo, brochure, business card, cost/margins spreadsheet, partnership agreement, and a video all of which will be uploaded onto their store website. I look forward to seeing some creative stores.
